dubai — Order of Merit winner England’s Georgia Hall revealed that she was a bit jet-lagged heading into the first round of the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic but said that it will be sorted going into the second round on Thursday.

The 21-year-old carded a twounder 70 on the day to be placed tied 14th at the Majlis Course of the Emirates Golf Club on Wednesday. She had three birdies and a bogey in her round.

Hall, who had six top 10 finishes this season, had made the long trip from Florida and barely had enough rest. “I kind of struggled on the back nine today but I played okay. Just some approaches to greens weren’t that great, but sort it out tomorrow (Thursday) and see what happens,” Hall said after her round. “I landed from Orlando at like one o’clock yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and I didn’t get to the hotel until three. It’s a 13-and-a-half-hour flight and I didn’t sleep.”
