Renew Ajman trade licence via SMS

dubai — The Department of Economic Development — Ajman (DED-Ajman) has announced the launch of a new service that allows investors to automatically renew their trade licences via SMS.

The new SMS service is part of the amendments being made for the new licensing system and also complies with the DED-Ajman’s guidelines on facilitating business transactions and increasing economic and investment activity in Ajman.

Ali Eissa Al Nuaimi, directorgeneral, DED-Ajman, said the launch of the ‘automatic renewal of trade licence’ service was developed based on the classification of the degree of risk for economic activities. This adds to the department’s track record in creating easyto-follow procedures for licence renewal. The launch of the service also complements the move to position the emirate as an investment haven.
