dubai — The Dubai Municipality has denied the accuracy of a video clip that shows potato chips burning. The civic body’s food safety department clarified that the flames on the fried potato are a “natural result of burning carbohydrates, oils and salt contained in the product”. It does not indicate the presence of any chemicals that can seriously affect the safety of the food product.
