Sheikha Fatima lauded for global recognition

dubai — Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, president of Zayed University, has congratulated Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, on behalf of the University, for recently receiving the Family Advocate Award by the World Family Organisation.

Sheikha Lubna said that this significant international achievement represents a global recognition of the leading and unique roles undertaken by the Mother of the UAE in supporting the family and strengthening its responsibility as a key contributor to the advancement of the community.

She added that it is also an honour to the wider UAE community, as the supreme model of family stability represents the coherence, integration and solidarity among its different segments, members and age groups.

She highlighted the great role of the Mother of the UAE in encouraging Emirati women to advance and occupy leading positions in the world through their main role in taking care of children, as well as maintaining the stability and solidarity of their families.
