Two students stuck in school lift rescued

ras al khaimah — Two 15-year-old students have been rescued by the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence personnel after they were trapped in a school lift on Thursday.

The two schoolboys received no injuries, according to Arabic daily Al Ittihad.

An informed source at the RAK Civil Defence said the operations room was reported about the incident that two students were stuck in an elevator at their school.

The civil defence team rushed to the school and managed to get the two students out by using special tools and equipment.

The case file has thus been handed over to the competent bodies so they could take the necessary action in this regard.
