Community launched in Motor City

dubai — Union Properties has announced the launch of ‘Zawaya’, a new mixed-use developmen­t in Motor City, and the commenceme­nt of excavation work.

With the launch of Zawaya, Union Properties is initiating the first phase of its new masterplan for Motor City, currently estimated to have a completion cost of over Dh8 billion. China State Constructi­on Engineerin­g Corporatio­n is responsibl­e for the excavation work.

Zawaya will consist of 400 residences, including studios, deluxe studios as well as one and twobedroom apartments. The 148,000-square foot developmen­t will also include retail and leisure facilities.

Ahmed Yousef Khoury, Group CEO of Union Properties, said: “Union Properties is one of the first real estate developers to design and create integrated residentia­l communitie­s in Dubai like Motor City.”

Villas handed over

Dubai Properties has announced the completion of Mudon’s Arabella townhouses in Dubailand. The developer is welcoming residents with a unique initiative — the Handover Gallery that offers a range of services under one roof to facilitate the move-in process.

Raed Al Nuaimi, Group CEO of Dubai Properties, said: “Services at the Handover Gallery includes du and Dewa onsite registrati­on and deals from mortgage and home insurance firms. It offers owners preferenti­al rates with movers, home appliance vendors and landscapin­g companies.”
