UAE, Saudi discuss mutual ties
jeddah — Reem Al Hashimy, the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Ahmed Qattan, Saudi Minister of State for African Affairs, on Tuesday discussed the outstanding relations binding the UAE and Saudi Arabia as well as ways to further develop them to serve the interest of the two nations and their peoples.
The meeting also dealt with aspects of cooperation in the African continent with a special focus on how to boost joint projects there.
The UAE Minister said that the joint relations between the two countries are historic and distinguished, thanks to the leaderships of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. —
