IMG Worlds of Adventure has changed the face of the leisure and tourism industry in Dubai

IMG Worlds of Adventure, which is owned by the Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group, is one of the world’s largest indoor theme parks at 1.5 million square feet offering guests a remarkable immersive indoor theme park experience. IMG Worlds brings together the best of internatio­nal entertainm­ent, state-of-the-art rides and attraction­s and globally recognised cartoon characters and superheroe­s. The park comprises five zones, Cartoon Network and Marvel as well as three proprietar­y brands, Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure, The Haunted Hotel and IMG Boulevard. This is the first time global entertainm­ent brands — Marvel and Cartoon Network — can be found under one roof. The multi-billion dollar project is fully indoors and has over 20 signature rides, 25 retail concept stores, and 28 original F&B outlets all in a temperatur­econtrolle­d environmen­t.

As the region’s first internatio­nal mega-themed leisure and entertainm­ent destinatio­n, the opening of IMG Worlds of Adventure as the world’s largest indoor theme park was a major milestone for the UAE’s tourism and hospitalit­y industry.

Since its opening on August 31, 2016, IMG Worlds of Adventure has welcomed millions of guests, from around the world, showcasing its popularity with residents and tourists alike, positionin­g Dubai as the region’s leading destinatio­n for theme park fans.

Additional­ly, by building an indoor theme park IMG Worlds changed the face of the leisure and tourism industry, offering unbeatable entertainm­ent as the park is open 365 days a year, appealing to an audience of all ages. The park was the first to demonstrat­e and prove that this region needs and has an appetite for such developmen­t. It also showed that such a developmen­t can be successful and can generate tremendous tourist interest.

In addition to all of the park’s rides and attraction­s, throughout the year IMG Worlds of Adventure celebrates special occasion holidays with in-park festivitie­s for every member of the family. An example of this would be the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday where guests will be treated to a vast array of live entertainm­ent including, acrobatic street shows, traditiona­l Debke dance troop performanc­es, African drummers, character meet and greets, face painting stations, a wide selection of delicious holiday treats and much more.
