Sheikh Mansour Festival races in Italy
ozieri — The L’Chilivani racecourse located in the hamlet of Chilivani in the municipality of Ozieri in Italy will on Saturday play host to three races under the umbrella of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.
On a raceday which will see some top races in the Italian flatracing calendar being run the Festival-supported races include two big races for Purebred Arabian horses and one for ponies.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival-supported Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup will carry a prize fund of Euros 35,200 and is a Listed event.
The runners are Akoya under J.B Hamel, Burkan Al Khalediah under N. Murru, Djebel de la Roque under C . Fiocchi, Eiman Du Loup under Mario Sanna, Quadro Di Chia under A Citti, Ramiz Al Aziz under A Fele, Sedilesu under A. Fiori, Serom under G Fresu, Shadwan Al Khalediah under P. Convertino, Sibillina under P.Salis, Tisserand under A Bianchina, Uragano Di Chia under A Fadda and Ussarus under M. Rossini.
Earlier in the card is the Festival’s Wathba Stallions Cup aimed to boost the grass roots of Arabian horse racing.

The Festival’s Sheikha Lateefa bint Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan International Pony championship race is the third and the winning young jockey here will qualify for the finals in Abu Dhabi in November.
This 800-metre race will see Corona F be riding Orgosolo, Columbu G on Intrue, Pisano C on Saetta, Fadda G on Silvan, Sanna S on Approach, Enna T on Sangria, Ponga M on Primula De Oniferi, Mereu A on Perla Ittireddesa, Tola G on Tequila, Sanna D on Spirit and Sias G on B.
