UAE and Malaysia in friendly draw

The UAE national youth under-19 football team tied 1-1 against Malaysia in their first friendly for the 40th edition of the AFC U-19 Championship to be organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Indonesia this month.

Ahmed Fawzi netted first in the 7th minute, while Malaysia’s Mohamed Al Fawzan equalised as the match drew to a close on the 79th minute at the Shah Alam Stadium Stadium. The two teams are scheduled for another encounter on Saturday before leaving for Indonesia.
