-

lahore — Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N president Shahbaz Sharif was desperate to strike a deal with the government.

Addressing a Press conference here, the minister said he would not say whether former prime minister Nawaz Sharif or his daughter Maryam Nawaz also wanted an ‘NRO’, but the opposition leader was trying hard to strike a deal.

To a question about prime minister’s midterm election statement, he said Imran Khan made the statement in response to a question about creation of south Punjab province. —
