Court summons govt over Basant

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday issued notices to the Punjab government and others for December 26 on a petition challenging the decision to lift ban on Basant celebrations.

The single bench comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan heard the petition, filed by one Irfan Wattoo. —
