Aramex acquires Saudi TAL

Aramex, the global provider of comprehens­ive logistics and transporta­tion solutions, today announced the acquisitio­n of the KSA-based company, Saudi TAL for Commerce and Contract Company, for approximat­ely $80 million.Bashar Obeid, chief executive officer of Aramex, said: “Saudi Arabia is Aramex’s largest market in the Middle East and holds significan­t growth potential for the business. Our acquisitio­n of Saudi TAL supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to encourage private sector investment to diversify the economy.“

Expo 2020 Dubai and Dulsco tie up

Expo 2020 Dubai has announced a new partnershi­p with Dulsco, which will support Expo 2020 Dubai in diverting 85 per cent of its waste away from landfill. As Expo 2020’s Official Waste Management Partner, Dulsco will implement innovative solutions, supporting Dubai’s aim to host one of the most sustainabl­e World Expos ever. Najeeb Mohammed Al Ali, executive director, Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau, said: “By collaborat­ing with Dulsco, Expo 2020 has an opportunit­y to assist the circular economy through effective waste management, helping to preserve our surroundin­gs and shape a better world for generation­s to come.”
