Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid arrived in Muscat on Monday afternoon, and was also accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and
Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, and Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed his sincere condolences to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the late leader in peace.
Meanwhile, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, offered his condolences to Sultan Haitham on the demise of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, state news agency SPA reported on Monday. —
