Thank you for advancing your students’ personal and social development, their leadership qualities, technology skills, innovation and desire to contribute to their school and community.”
dubai — An inspection report of Indian and Pakistani schools in Dubai is set to be released today.
However, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) gave a sneak peek on their Twitter on Wednesday, revealing some of the results.
Four Indian schools improved their rating from ‘good’ to ‘very good’ this year, helping 6,000 students receive better quality education. These schools include GEMS New Millennium School, JSS International, Ambassador School and JSS Private School Dubai.
“Congratulations on improving your rating to ‘very good’ this year,” KHDA tweeted to GEMS New Millennium School. “Thank

you for advancing your students’ personal and social development, their leadership qualities, technology skills, innovation and desire to contribute to their school and community.”
The Principal of the school, Fatima Martin, released a statement after the announcement, saying that they were rated as ‘good’ in their first school inspections in 2015.
“Now, thanks to steady yearon-year improvement, we have passed the next milestone in our school’s development. The concerted efforts of all staff at GEMS New Millennium School, to pursue excellence, have been instrumental in this achievement,” Martin said.
In a tweet to JSS International, the KHDA said: “JSS International showed strong and welldistributed leadership, which has improved the school, its students and the whole school community. Well done.” A total of 11 schools were rated ‘good’ this year, which include Amled School, Credence High School, GEMS Heritage, Our Own High School, Indian High School, Springsdales, The Kindergarten Starters, GEMS Our Own Indian, Bilva Indian School, The Indian Academy and Primus Private School.
Pakistani schools
As for Pakistani schools in Dubai, there are currently only two private ones that are operating — The HH Shaikh Rashid Al Maktoum Pakistan School and the Pakistan Educational Academy.
In last year’s report it was revealed that the Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum Pakistan School had improved its rating to ‘acceptable’ after being rated weak for seven years straight.
