MINISTER ASKS PEOPLE TO EXERCISE CARE

ISLAMABAD — Minister for Interior Ejaz Ahmed Shah on Thursday urged the nation to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), the government announced to contain the spread of coronavirus, while observing Friday prayers and celebrating the Eid Al Fitr.

In a video message, he said: “I request the people to follow the SOPs announced by the federal and provincial governments while observing the Jumatul Wida (last Friday of Ramadan) and Eid Al Fitr.”

He said asked people to maintain distance while offering prayers and wear masks at public places. Shah advised the people not to hug each other on the Eid day and just extend Eid greetings by maintaining the advised distance. —
