Slim chance of Moon on May 22, Eid likely on 25th

The moon for the month of Shawal will not be easily visible on Saturday (May 23) in any part of the country, so Eid Al Fitr is likely to be celebrated on Monday (May 25) after 30 days of the holy month of Ramadan. Talking to APP on Thursday, Khalid Ejaz Mufti, secretary-general, Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, said the new moon born on Friday, May 22, will not be easily visible even with telescope in any part of the country.
