Murree to remain closed for tourists on Eid days

The entry of tourists in Murree would be banned during Eid Al Fitr holidays in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Rawalpindi deputy commissioner, all tourist spots and hotels in Murree would remain closed during Eid Al Fitr holidays as part of precautionary measures against Covid-19. Local residents would be allowed to enter the town after showing their identity cards, the deputy commissioner added. The picturesque hill station is usually frequented by tourists on weekends and holidays, particularly Eid days. —
