WALL ST’S SYMBOLIC HEART REOPENS FOR TRADING AFTER TWO MONTHS
The New York Stock Exchange — dubbed the symbolic heart of Wall Street — reopened its trading floor on Tuesday for the first time in two months as the state relaxed more restrictions aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus.
Traders cheered as Governor Andrew Cuomo rang the opening bell, which had been closed since March. Traders will be required to wear masks and stay six feet apart. Anyone entering the exchange will be asked to avoid public transportation. —
