Rs158.93B disbursed under ehsaas plan

An amount of Rs158.93 billion has so far been distributed by the government under the Ehsaas emergency cash programme among over 13.14 million lockdown affected persons. The Ehsaas programme was initiated to disburse Rs12,000 each among affected people through special centres across the country. According to an update, over Rs71.219 billion has been disbursed in Punjab, Rs48.202 billion in Sindh, Rs27.016 billion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while Rs7.910 billion has been disbursed in Balochistan.
