PM’s aide on accountability elevated as adviser

Special assistant to the prime minister on accountability Shahzad Akbar has been elevated as adviser to the prime minister on accountability and interior with immediate effect. According to a notification, Akbar will enjoy the status of federal minister. He will cease to hold the status of special assistant to the prime minister on accountability and interior. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed adviser to the prime minister on climate change Malik Amin Aslam as special assistant to the prime minister on climate change.
