Emirati national colours fluttered high and proud across the country on Tuesday as Rulers, leaders, ministers, government officials, Emiratis and expats came together to honour the UAE flag. Marked on November 3, Flag Day celebrates the accession anniversar­y of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As a precaution­ary measure against the spread of Covid-19, socially distanced ceremonies were kept short and attendees adhered to all safety protocols.
