Senate chairman to leave for Djibouti on May 13

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani will leave for Djibouti on May 13 on a four-day visit on the invitation of the President of Djibouti. The Senate chairman will attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Ismail Omar Guelleh on May 15. During his stay, Sanjrani will also hold meetings with the president and prime minister of Djibouti. He is also scheduled to meet the Speaker of Djibouti’s National Assembly, ministers of budget, minister of energy and minister of communications and information technology. Earlier, a parliamentary delegation from Djibouti visited Pakistan in January 2021. —
