Sheikh Abdullah honours retirees of Foreign Ministry
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, honoured a group of retirees from the Ministry and awarded them commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation of their sincere efforts in serving the nation.
The ceremony, which was held at the Ministry's headquarters, was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin
Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; and a number of officials.
Sheikh Abdullah said this celebration constitutes appreciation and gratitude for the retirees' sincere efforts that have reinforced the successes of Emirati diplomacy and fostered the UAE'S reputation at the regional and global levels.
"On this day, we reaffirm our pride in your accomplishments throughout your inspiring career that has enriched Emirati diplomacy. You have succeeded in representing our country at various regional and international forums, with tremendous efforts to consolidate the country's global reputation and highlight its development achievements," Sheikh Abdullah added.
He stated that their outstanding services to the homeland will always be appreciated and respected, stressing that they are national models for the youth and future generations.
