The Leaders in Logistics edition of Logistics Middle

East is always an exciting one to put together. It’s a challenge trying to pre-empt the issues that the industry will be discussing during the event, while at the same time keeping the themes of the month in print separate from the agenda of the conference.

It’s the best kind of challenge though, because the industry is always evolving, the topics of the day shift like the tide, and to borrow a quote from Amy Poehler, if you spend a lot of your time with a group of people who challenge and inspire you, it will change your life.

I’m impressed every month by the people that work in this industry, from the warehouse operators finding new ways to store greater volumes in the same space, to the WMS designers and the forklift manufacturers who want to make picking more efficient, to the end-users themselves, such as AW Rostamani Lifestyle (our cover star for November).

AWR Lifestyle recently launched their new American Rag store in Dubai Mall, and if you’re older than 30 you likely won’t be shopping there, because this store is all about the future of retail, and how it will impact the supply chain on the back-end. I challenge you to read the feature and not be impressed by the concept of logistics that Greig Fowler has envisioned.

As always, enjoy the issue.
