WORLD ARCHITECTURE DAY 2022

The World Architectural Festival (WAF) is a famous yearly festival and awards ceremony dedicated to the architecture and development industries. From 2008 to 2011, the first four events were hosted in Barcelona, after which the festival relocated to Singapore for four years. Since 2016, Berlin and Amsterdam have served as host cities. It is the only event where about 550 selected architects present their proposals live to a judging panel in crit rooms. One of these constructions has been named World Building of the Year. The World Architecture Festival provides a list of prize winners on their official website each year.
