Since found­ing his name­sake de­sign stu­dio in 2013 in Al­borz, Iran, Arash G Tehrani has worked to es­tab­lish a hu­man­i­tar­ian, re­search and de­sign-driven prac­tice. The firm’s achieve­ments in­clude the cre­ation of cheap and eas­ily-as­sem­bled shel­ter for vic­tims of war or nat­u­ral dis­as­ters, as well as the home­less. Dur­ing 2018, he worked on five res­i­den­tial projects, in­clud­ing Villa Maa and Villa Rah­mani, both of which are in Iran, as well as com­mer­cial projects such as Func­tion­less Build­ing and the Room of Re­quire­ments. He has also cre­ated a num­ber of award-win­ning con­cepts, such as the Gol­shahr Mosque and Plaza. Tehrani is also a vis­it­ing lec­turer and fi­nal project su­per­vi­sor at Is­lamic Azad Univer­sity and Al­borz Ar­chi­tec­ture Cen­ter.
