Yeas­tar brings en­ter­prise-grade UC&C so­lu­tions to the mid­mar­ket

While en­ter­prises have shown great ap­petite for uni­fied com­mu­ni­ca­tions and col­lab­o­ra­tion (UC&C) so­lu­tions, wider adop­tion by SMBS is still ham­pered by high costs and com­plex­ity.

UC&C ven­dor Yeas­tar wants to bridge this gap be­tween the need for high-qual­ity com­mu­ni­ca­tion tools and SMBS.

The Yeas­tar S- Se­ries VOIP PBX brings var­i­ous fea­tures SMBS look in a com­mu­ni­ca­tions sys­tem, con­verged in a sin­gle sys­tem, says Alan Shen, Yeas­tar CEO.

These in­clude ease of use and man­age­ment, built-in tele­phony fea­tures, ro­bust UC&C ca­pac­ity, fu­ture-proof field-upgrad­able de­sign, and free life­time soft­ware up­dates.

“The co­or­di­nated Linkus soft­phone de­liv­ers greater mo­bil­ity to SMBS and al­lows them to em­brace en­ter­prise-grade com­mu­ni­ca­tion tools any­where, like con­fer­enc­ing, in­stant mes­sag­ing and pres­ence, with min­i­mum in­vest­ment and with­out re­ly­ing on third-party tools that might in­cur ex­or­bi­tant li­cense fees.

“Ad­di­tion­ally, the mis­cel­la­neous sup­ported in­te­gra­tion so­lu­tions like call cen­tre, CRM, Ho­tel PMS, pro­vide SMBS with tools needed to deal with busi­ness core tasks and stream­line busi­ness work­flow in a cost-ef­fec­tive way. For busi­nesses that pre­fer cloud-based so­lu­tions, Yeas­tar also of­fers Cloud PBX sys­tem to pro­vide low ini­tial costs and a full range of uni­fied com­mu­ni­ca­tion fea­tures with­out ex­tra li­cense fees,” Shen adds.

Mo­bil­ity is also a grow­ing trend in many or­gan­i­sa­tions’ com­mu­ni­ca­tions strat­egy, their size not­with­stand­ing, driven by an in­creas­ingly mo­bile work­force.

To cater for this in­creas­ing num­ber of on-the-go work­ers, Yeas­tar has rolled out the Linkus uni­fied com­mu­ni­ca­tions app, a desk­top/mo­bile soft­phone de­signed to be used in con­junc­tion with Yeas­tar S- Se­ries VOIP PBX (on-premises) and Cloud PBX.

Avail­able us­ing Win­dows desk­tops, Mac desk­tops, iphone and An­droid phones, Yeas­tar Linkus in­te­grates tele­phony with UC&C fea­tures such as pres­ence, uni­fied mes­sag­ing, and file shar­ing, and al­lows users to shorten com­mu­ni­ca­tion run-around times with a com­plete range of of­fice ex­ten­sion fea­tures read­ily ac­ces­si­ble on their own de­vices.

“Yeas­tar Linkus also sup­ports CRM in­te­gra­tion on Win­dows desk­top clients. Main­stream CRM plat­forms like Sales­force CRM, Mi­crosoft Dy­nam­ics 365, Google Con­tact and Out­look Con­tact are cur­rently sup­ported, and more in­te­gra­tion pos­si­bil­i­ties are ex­pected to come in the near fu­ture,” says Shen.

It is not a one-size-fits-all for most or­gan­i­sa­tions, with hy­brid on-premise/cloud the pre­ferred UC&C de­ploy­ment model.

Yeas­tar pro­vides hy­brid UC so­lu­tion with Yeas­tar Linkus uni­fied com­mu­ni­ca­tions app that in­te­grates with Yeas­tar S- Se­ries VOIP PBX (on-premises). The so­lu­tion pro­vides IP tele­phony, mes­sag­ing, pres­ence and file shar­ing tech­nolo­gies, and al­lows users to max­imise their in­vest­ment in on-premises equip­ment with added real-time cloud-based UC&C fea­tures in one sin­gle plat­form, says Shen.

We are en­abling SMBS to em­brace en­ter­prise- grade com­mu­ni­ca­tion tools any­where, says Shen.
