Ingersoll Rand debuts ATEX tools and other technologies at ADIPEC
PRODUCTS Ingersoll Rand debuted several new technologies at ADIPEC along with its UAE distributor Al-futtaim Auto & Machinery Co (FAMCO).
The company launched the 3” nonmetallic diaphragm pump range from ARO, the fluid management business of Ingersoll Rand. They come with construction available in Polypropylene or PVDF material and port sizes ranging from ¼” to 3”. They are used for acid transfer and corrosive chemical unloading applications, especially for ‘acidisation’ in well stimulation and coil tubing units.
The Ingersoll Rand IQV20 Series™ W7152 1/2” impact wrench, which delivers 2040Nm of torque and 1360Nm of max reverse torque. The W7152 is 207mm long from tip to tail and has a 360-degree shadowless task light to provide visibility in hard-to-reach spaces. The Ingersoll Rand IQV power control system gives technicians the power and control to complete jobs accurately and quickly.
Atex-certified heavy-duty pneumatic impact tools and drills for environments with potentially hazardous atmospheres. These tools can meet the ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 safety requirements for the harshest environments of specialised applications including the petrochemical and mining industries, and other production or processing areas.
The company also discussed the Liftchain® Air Hoists Series (LC2A), the latest addition to the portfolio of Ingersoll Rand heavy-lifting hoists. The new series includes additional capacities of 1T, 2T, 3T single fall and 6T dual fall hoists, giving more lifting options for heavy-duty industrial applications.
