COMANSA LAUNCHES 18 AND 24-TONNE LUFF­ING JIB CRANES

Comansa launched two new luffers, the CML280 and CML310, to meet the in­creas­ing de­mand for 18 and 24-tonne luff­ing jib cranes in Asia and the Mid­dle East, as well as tar­get mar­kets in Africa and South Amer­ica.

The new cranes fea­ture a coun­ter­jib ra­dius of 7.3m, which is an ad­van­tage on con­gested sites. The CML280 18t has a reach of 60m, and the load at max­i­mum reach is 2900 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 168 me­tres per minute and wire rope ca­pac­ity of up to 790m.

The CML310 18t has a reach of 60m, and the load at max­i­mum reach is 3500 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 168 me­tres per minute and wire rope ca­pac­ity of up to 790m. The CML310 24t ver­sion, too, has a reach of 60m, and the load at max­i­mum reach is 3200 kg. It has a hoist speed of up to 131 me­tres per minute and wire rope ca­pac­ity of up to 640m.

Comansa has also up­graded of two of its most suc­cess­ful flat-top cranes. The 18 tonne ver­sions of both 21CM335 and 21CM550 mod­els have been up­graded and now have max­i­mum load ca­pac­ity of 20 tonnes.

With this im­prove­ment, Comansa com­pletes the up­grade of all mod­els from the 2100 Se­ries, formed by tower cranes with max­i­mum load ca­pac­ity from 12 to 50 tonnes.
