Ka­mal Mo­hammed Fatay­erji holds 27 years of com­bined ex­pe­ri­ence in project man­age­ment, mar­ket­ing and sales, work­ing for a global engi­neer­ing firm. Of these, Fatay­erji spent 20 years on petro­chem­i­cal projects and hy­dro­car­bon down­stream joint ven­tures with in­ter­na­tional part­ners. Nama Chem­i­cals is a joint stock, Tadawul-listed com­pany, es­tab­lished in Saudi Ara­bia in 1992, with the ob­jec­tive of de­vel­op­ing and estab­lish­ing in­dus­trial projects in the petro­chem­i­cal sec­tor. The Saud­i­s­a­tion of the com­pany’s work­force stands at 52%. NAMA Chem­i­cals’ af­fil­i­ates in­clude Ara­bian In­dus­trial Fibers Com­pany (Ibn-rushd), Yanbu Na­tional Petro­chem­i­cal Com­pany (Yansab) and Na­tional Chem­i­cal In­dus­tries Cor­po­ra­tion (NACIC) of Bahrain. Fatay­erji earned his master’s de­gree in con­struc­tion engi­neer­ing and pro­gramme man­age­ment from the Univer­sity of Cal­i­for­nia at Berkeley in the United States.
