LOOKS LIKE A FAMILY CAR, BUT MOVES LIKE IT’S STRAPPED TO A ROCKET THE CADILLAC CTS-V IS A DECEPTIVE BEAST

Shortlist - - CONTENTS -

We go for a spin in the ultra-quick Cadillac CTS-V sedan.

To the unassuming, the Cadillac CTS-V is simply a good looking sedan. The type of vehicle you’ll nip to and from the shops in. With five doors and boot space big enough to fit a road bike (we checked) it’s a lovely little day-to-day vehicle. But that all changes when you start the engine. From the throaty, fire gargling sounds of the exhausts, you instantly realise why this American thoroughbred is considered to be one of the fastest sedans on the planet. 640 horses will thrust you to a palm moistening top speed of around 320km/h. The scariest/most fun part about it? The faintest of taps on the accelerator send it into warp speed and thrust you back into the bespoke Recaro bucket seats. Great stuff. Quite honestly, it’s everything you could want in a vehicle. Practicality for your daily drives and all the fun of a sports car.

Cadillac CTS-V retails from AED348,000
