Yamaha YAS-706

Stuff Middle East - - Hot Stuff -

To most people, the name Yamaha means great big AV receivers and reems of speaker cables. But for a while now it’s also been synonymous with easy-to-use wireless sound products. The latest in the line is the YAS-706, Yamaha’s sleek TV-front soundbar. It supports a swathe of audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD blasted out at a powerful 210 watts, as well as a function that will simulate 7.1 channel surround sound, with the included sub. To top it all off, the YAS-706 forms part of Yamaha’s multi-room MusicCast system, which means it’ll play nice with the company’s other speakers, letting you bounce audio from Spotify or Bluetooth around your gaff, too.
