ACCI’S membership grows during Q3, 2018
AJMAN: The membership of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has grown by 4 per cent during the third quarter of 2018 as compared to the same period last year. According to Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, the number of the Chamber’s members rose to 10,519 during Q3 of 2018 compared to 10,067 in same period last year. While the value of THE CERTIICATES of origin Issued By THE Ajman Chamber reached Dhs1.244 billion during the third quarter of 2018, Al Suwaidi added.
He pointed out that Ajman Chamber constantly strives to diversify and open new international markets for the local products by involving its members of companies and factories in major international exhibitions under its umbrella. This contributes to enhancing the cooperation and building new partnerships that by turn lead to increase export and re-export operations in the emirate. The ACCI further strengthens its communication and cooperation with various embassies, consulates and commercial attachés of Arab and foreign countries, to serve the emirate’s international trade with these countries, the Director General said.
He praised the directives and continuous follow-up of Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, to enhance the competitiveness of Ajman and strengthen its infrastructure in order to continue an attractive business environment to investors and businessmen. Al Suwaidi further reiterated the keenness of the Ajman Chamber to diversify its services, especially those CONCERNED with THE Certiicates of origin.
