Artists from different parts of the world join together for a cause
Artists from different parts of the world joined together in UAE for “Together we Can” Art Exhibition at Fairmont Ajman by Funun and Art4you Gallery. The exhibition was for a cause to help the lood affected families of Kerala.
30 artists from 10 countries such as India, Pakistan, Egypt, Scotland , Canada, Jordan, Vietnam and Philippines, US, Kuwait and UAE — displayed their works at the Flora Hotel in Al Barsha on Sept.20, the irst stop of Exhibition.
The three-day exhibition was organised by artists and sisters Shiba Khan and Farah Khan through their non-proit art platform Funun Arts that represents emerging artists from various nationalities residing in the UAE.
Later the exhibition travelled to other Emirates over a period of two months in order to raise funds from across the UAE. Second stop was in Abudhabi Arthub where the exhibition was held from Oct.7 to Oct.13.
The third stop was Fairmont Hotel, Ajman, where the exhibition was held from Oct 28 till Nov 30. There were two Indian artists — Meera and Jesno, who exhibited their artwork on the theme of Kerala’s dance from Kathakali.
The featured artists are Bharat Takur, Art Noor, Ahmed Al Dossary, Shiba Khan, Farah Khan, Jesno Rengi, Elizabeth Bruce, Sonu Sultania, Afshan Qureshi, Samar Kamal, Anjini Laitu, Zeinab Yehya, Ahmed Rukni, Yuvika Garg, Sunita Vasanth, Noura Mostafa,jyoti Sethi, Joel Borja, Meera Ahmed, Ahsan Khan, Reema Dhimal, Pari Sagar, Fayzeh Haddad, Humeira Hussain, Maria Faridi. The next stop will be in the Emirate Sharjah.
