DOLCE & GABBANA
For its latest line of fine jewellery for men, Dolce & Gabbana looks to some of its signature motifs – the bee, the crown and the rose – as well as adding new protagonists, most notably Western-style pistols and horseshoes with four-leaf clovers. Elsewhere, gold dragons and blue-green peacocks rear their proud heads, while other birds are rendered in transparent enamel and pavé gems. The colourful collection is made up of cufflinks and pendants, in red, blue, black and green enamel, and yellow and white gold, with a bombé insert in various hues of crocodile leather. New brooches feature a floral motif with twisted bezels or filigree details. Symbolism aside, the collection boasts a range of techniques rooted in Italian goldsmithing traditions, from hand-rendered bas-relief to openwork and mirror-polished finishes, studded with rubies, garnets, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds.
