South African re­tail brand, Col­lec­tive by Charles Greig, has opened a new con­cept store in Dubai’s Jumeirah Al Naseem ho­tel. Founded in 2015 by Richard and Nicky Greig, the Col­lec­tive sup­ports home­grown African brands, as well as de­sign­ers and artists from across the globe, cov­er­ing art, beauty, fash­ion and lifestyle. The new store is within the premises of Dubai eatery Flamingo Room by Tashas, with the two team­ing up to of­fer an “ed­u­ca­tional African jour­ney”. Key col­lec­tions in­clude the sculptures of Don­ald Greig, in­spired by his up­bring­ing sur­rounded by abun­dant wildlife, along with beauty brand Afri­col­ogy, which boasts nat­u­ral, eco-friendly skin­care. Black Sheep Cash­mere is an­other prod­uct close to the fam­ily’s heart, with Nicky Greig de­sign­ing the be­spoke pieces, which are then hand­made. “Col­lec­tive and Flamingo Room work bril­liantly to­gether, of­fer­ing African glam­our to a dis­cern­ing Dubai crowd,” says Nicky. “We are thrilled to be in the re­gion.” Other brands and prod­ucts avail­able at Col­lec­tive by Charles Greig in­clude: Su­per sun­glasses, Laloo jew­ellery, Oxy­gen watches, Anna Trze­bin­ski, Mi­chou bowls, Zam­bezi Grace hand­bags, Sku­luna, La­lesso beach­wear, Granadilla men’s swimwear and As­souline books.
