For spring/summer 2020, Boss has launched its first fully vegan suit. Part of the company’s Responsible Tailoring collection, this new menswear offering is made from the finest German-grown certified organic linen, and has been reengineered so any components that would traditionally be made from either wool or horsehair, such as padding, lining and canvassing, have been replaced with 100 per cent animal-free alternatives. Cut for a slim-fit, this lightweight single-breasted suit comes in beige, as well as classic dark blue and black, and yet, thanks to the natural qualities of the yarn, still offers a casual, more relaxed feel, ideal for summer time. A strong fibre, linen is extremely hard-wearing, but also less stiff, making it the ideal choice for those who prefer a more louche approach to dressing.
