Why our landscapes can be high-value assets
This talk by Daniel Moraetis of Sultan Qaboos University on Oman deals with themes we are all too familiar with here. The landscapes around us are changing due to natural and manmade intervention. Some of these are historically important, while others contribute to the economy. The talk will reflect on these significant landscapes with high heritage value and will examine why it is crucial to consider preserving them as high value assets. Natural Assets in a Changing World: the Case of the Arabian Peninsula takes place at 2.30pm tomorrow at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and will be delivered in English.
