ART WORKSHOP

Take part in the course An Introduction to Islamic Geometric Design led by renowned Islamic-geometry artist Eric Broug. The class, which looks at design heritage in a practical and historical perspective, begins with a visual introduction to the essential principles of geometric design and will include drawing patterns with a ruler and pencil, following the traditional method of design. It takes place at Dubai Design District, which is also hosting the interactive multimedia installation Beirut Youth Exhibition, launching tonight at 7pm and running from noon to 8pm on Friday and Saturday.
