Las Brisas at Emi­rates Palace kicked-off its Fri­day brunch last week­end with an im­pres­sive spread. Set to sim­u­late Barcelona’s La Bo­que­ria food mar­ket, the brunch takes in a fro­magerie and boulan­gerie, an or­ganic veg­etable gar­den, and a fish-and-chip shop. Span­ish tapas and Ara­bic mezze aside, there are a host of live-cook­ing sta­tions, in­clud­ing a prir­illa grill for Wagyu burg­ers and short ribs, an egg counter and a paella cor­ner, plus a cof­fee counter, juice bar and patis­serie set up by pas­try chef Fran­cois Leo. Ded­i­cated staff will be on hand to en­ter­tain chil­dren. The brunch is priced from Dh185 for kids be­tween 6 and 10 years; and Dh370 for adults. Call 02 690 7999.
