Warriors and Tigers claim T10 League wins

Northern Warriors are through to the knockout stages of the T10 League in Sharjah after they thrashed defending champions Kerala Knights by eight wickets on Thursday. Nicolas Pooran’s unbeaten 43 off 18 balls saw the Warriors chase down Kerala’s 101-2 with 2.4 overs to spare on 105-2. They and Pakhtoons are both guaranteed to be in the top four when the group stages come to a close on Friday. Bengal Tigers are also in a strong position to qualify after they defeated Sindhis by seven wickets. Jason Roy’s 64 off 35 balls set them up to beat the Sindhis total of 134-4 on 138-3. Friday’s action sees Kerala take on the Tigers (3.30pm), Rajputs up against the Warriors (5.45pm) and Sindhis v Maratha Arabians (8pm). The knockout stages are on Saturday, with the final and 3rd/4th place play-off on Sunday.
