Wolves manager vows to avoid Warnock row
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo insists he has learned his lesson from last season’s heated exchange with Cardiff City counterpart Neil Warnock. The two managers were embroiled in an a spat the last time the sides met in April. Warnock was unhappy Nuno had run on to the pitch to celebrate Wolves’ dramatic away win against their Championship title rivals instead of shaking Warnock’s hand. Both sides went on to be promoted and meet in the Premier League on Friday night and Santo said: “It’s the past. I understood in that moment how Neil reacted and I apologised and I will not repeat it again.”
