▶ 99 Sushi in­tro­duces new dishes

Abu Dhabi restau­rant 99 Sushi has added 10 dishes to its Ja­panese haute cui­sine menu. Sink your teeth into lava rock grilled scal­lops with ume­boshi sauce, Ob­si­blue carpac­cio made with Cale­do­nian blue prawns, kizami wasabi, lime and smoked olive oil. Cater­ing to pop­u­lar de­mand, the restau­rant also has new rice dishes such as Yakimesi cooked with sea­sonal veg­eta­bles and topped with egg yolk mac­er­ated in soy sauce. Among mains, the seared salmon with yuzu and shiso gua­camole (pic­tured) comes highly rec­om­mended. Fi­nally, two new flavours of ice cream mochi – green tea and mango with basil – round off the new menu.
