Grace Belgravia offers women solutions dedicated to living well and being healthy

ASK ANYONE IF THEY’RE FEELING stressed out, and chances are the answer will be yes a majority of the time. Struggling to balance work and life, many women find themselves sorely beset and in need of some relaxation and rejuvenation – and that’s where Grace Belgravia, housed in a historic building with airy, light-filled interiors in Knightsbridge, comes in. Created with the specific goal of providing an ideal setting for women of all ages and backgrounds to meet and spend some quality time, Grace Belgravia is a private women’s club that offers a veritable panoply of treatments and therapies at the Medical and Wellbeing Clinic, and also gives members access to a world-class spa and gym, a health-focused restaurant, and a host of curated events.

“Women play so many roles that we sometimes forget the sense of self – our true purpose and how to navigate this thing called Life,” says the club’s Meditation & Mindfulness Specialist, Padma Coram. She is part of a team of experts who provide preventative medicine and other therapies focused on health and wellbeing.

While non-members also have access to the Clinic and its treatments and therapies, members can use the club to attend events on various topics – such as art and culture, health, wellbeing, business and current affairs – or just meet friends and colleagues, go in for a relaxing spa treatment, hit the gym, or simply find some ‘me’ time.

Medical treatments offered range from dermatology, physiotherapy and cosmetic medicine, to hormone therapy, gynecology, environmental and nutritional medicine, and genetic testing. Wellbeing treatments cover a wide gamut of topics, including weight therapy, stress and relaxation treatments, fitness programs, aging well, energy and revitalization solutions, and sleep enhancement. Meanwhile, the Grace Spa offers pioneering preventative and curative technology, as well as meso-peels, medicosmetic facials, non-surgical facelifts and medically administered laser treatments.

The main philosophy at Grace Belgravia is to help women live healthily and happily, while aging well. “Every one of us wakes up wanting to have a happy, healthy day. Our versions of happiness may vary, but nevertheless, the ultimate goal is to feel safe, secure, healthy and happy,” Padma asserts. “A good balance is essential. I help people find this balance.” @gracebelgravia

“OUR SKIN IS THE BIGGEST organ in our body and it reflects our health and wellbeing,” says Dr Zeina Knio.

“Studying the skin, microscopically and macroscopically, in addition to anti-aging processes, has always been of special interest to me. The gratitude we as dermatologists see on our patients’ faces after we treat their skin and make them look and feel better is priceless.”

A skincare expert, Dr Knio’s specific areas of expertise at Obagi Medispa lie in rejuvenating treatments and facial fillers. In terms of a general skin wellness approach, she advocates the following: “Maintaining proper skin hygiene and using a suitable regimen of creams, including a sunscreen, has to be a daily ritual. Then, incorporating additional procedures in a clinic every few months is crucial to keep the skin radiant and young.”

Having started with Obagi Medispa in Beirut, Lebanon, before her stint in Dubai, Dr Knio is a veritable pro in such clinical procedures, and she believes that Obagi Medispa offers a competitive edge in that its “carefully-selected team of dermatologists and highly skilled healthcare personnel, combined with Dr Suzan Obagi’s young and dynamic principles on skin health restoration and rejuvenation, makes Obagi Medispa the best in the line of medical aesthetics and skincare within the setting of a luxury spa.”

Dr Knio confirms that skin rejuvenation treatments are the most popular at Obagi Medispa, and that the facility stays up to date with advancements in medicine and technology to ensure its cutting-edge service offering. “Our goal is to always find the best possible solution and services for our patients,” she adds.

For starters, she says, “We are very excited about our new and wider range of skincare regimens, Suzanobagimd products, which were designed for the purpose of delivering prescription and strength ingredients to the skin on a deep, cellular level.”
