Roads of Ara­bia: Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal Trea­sures of Saudi Ara­bia ex­plores the ar­chae­o­log­i­cal and cul­tural her­itage of the King­dom and the di­verse his­tory of the Ara­bian Penin­sula. The ex­hi­bi­tion will also in­te­grate ad­di­tional arte­facts from the UAE that are be­ing dis­played for the first time, high­light­ing the shared his­tory of the two na­tions. The ex­hi­bi­tion has been shown in renowned mu­se­ums world­wide, serv­ing as a valu­able medium to present the civ­i­liza­tions of Saudi Ara­bia and the Ara­bian Penin­sula, as well as their rich cul­tural her­itage and cul­tural and his­tor­i­cal el­e­ments ex­tend­ing through the ages. The ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures more than 460 arte­facts from the Na­tional Mu­seum in Riyadh and a num­ber of other Saudi mu­se­ums. These pieces il­lus­trate the pe­riod dat­ing from the Stone Age (one mil­lion years BC) to the Saudi Re­nais­sance pe­riod, stop­ping at the Stone Age, the Ubaid civ­i­liza­tion (5th mil­len­nium BC) and the Del­mon era, fol­lowed by the early Ara­bian dy­nas­ties and the me­dieval and late Ara­bian king­doms, on through the Prophetic era, the Umayyad and Ab­basid dy­nas­ties, and the me­dieval and late Is­lamic ages, lead­ing up to the uni­fi­ca­tion of Saudi Ara­bia, and the sub­se­quent de­vel­op­ment and pros­per­ity wit­nessed in all ar­eas of life, es­pe­cially in the ser­vice of the Two Holy Mosques. lou­vre­abud­
