Zhuang Hong Yi

Villa 88 - - Aesthetic -

Until 17 December / Opera Gallery In his very first solo exhibition, Chinese contemporary artist Zhuang Hong Yi displays his indelible playfulness with color and mastery of the three-dimensional world of flowers through striking acrylic paintings. Inspired by Chinese folk art, its materials and how they are used, Zhuang works with rice paper, providing him with an inexhaustible source of inspiration from which he gathers new ideas. The artist often references Western movements, such as impressionism, with his work, ultimately creating a bridge between East and West. @operagallery
