This graffiti-covered club (which will reopen in September) on Yas Island has regular DJ and club theme nights, but also plays host to some big names in music during the Formula 1 and other high-profile events. Past guests have included Jason Derulo and Armin van Buuren.

Saadiyat Beach Club
While this upscale beach resort will host one-off events with international DJs (previous gigs have included DJs Wankelmut and Tom Novy), we recommend you check out the Abu Dhabi Soul sessions, which was created by the founder of Rooftop Rhythms. The new season kicks off September 23 and sees local artists perform at this open mic night.

This surprisingly spacious club is tucked away in The Collection at St Regis Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island and has featured R&B, hip hop and rap up-and-comers such as Kid Ink, August Al Sina and YG.
