Kayaking at Al Bateen beach
There are lots of decent facilities at this beach (which was recently awarded a Blue Flag sustainability award by the Emirates Wildlife Authority), but our pick is to hire a kayak and head out to sea. The most compelling view has to be of Hodariyat Bridge, which leads to the currently uninhabited Hodariyat Island.

Explore some of the islands (and beaches) around Abu Dhabi with a boat trip. On the way, you’ll be able to see views of Emirates Palace and Marina Mall. Food is not included, however soft drinks and water will be on the boat. Maximum of six people per trip.
