hink cracking claws is the only way to eat lobster? Think again. The Shack is the newest seafood restaurant in town and is serving up crustaceans to the capital via New England.

While we did spy some beef sliders and a couple of chicken options on the menu, it goes without saying that it’s the seafood (the lobster in particular) that you should order. If you’re not a fan of seafood then be warned: most dishes are infused with strong flavours from the sea. Take the poutine fries, for example. They came topped with what tasted like a creamy lobster bisque and were studded with lobster meat – unexpected but moreish, nonetheless. The soggy oven-baked mushrooms, however, failed to delight and left a puddle of water on the plate.
